Overall impression

Very good, an incredible city.
Seaside: 70 km away, about an hour by car.

Impression of local population

Educated, well mannered, talkative and friendly.


Warm summers, sunny winters, hats unnecessary in winter.



Language (learning of the local language and communication with the local people)

Everybody speaks at least several of the following languages: Russian, English, Turkish, Bulgarian, Serbian, Polish, German, and Spanish.

Transport (road access, quality of roads, level of driving, gasoline cost, public transportation)

Affordable public transportation – 50 eurocents for a ride across the city, high quality of roads, average driving skills, reasonably priced petrol. Cars use gas, which is twice cheaper than petrol.
Going abroad: no problems whatsoever.

Prices (cost of living, food, entertainment)

A cup of coffee costs 50 cents, a large cheese sandwich – 70 cents, going to a restaurant will set you back at least 5 euro.

Job (search complexity, level of salary)

No problems, jobs available for any IT specialist.

Housing (cost, availability, rent, purchase)

Rooms from 50 euro, flats for rent from 100 euro, super co-working space in the best office in the city center 100-150 euro.


Almost none.

Women \ men (for dating)

Both women and men are very sociable.

The region's economy (crisis, inflation)

Local economy’s state is much better than in other Bulgarian cities.
