One of the cleanest cities in Poland, Poznan is very beautiful and has rich history. Walking in the city centre is a pure pleasure. It is very calm and quiet. There aren't many IT companies, though allegro comes from this city.
Proximity to the sea: The nearest seacoast is far away, one may get there by plane only. However, there are lots of local lakes
Young and middle-aged are very nice. Older people may not be friendly, however they are not rude.
A little bit reserved, but friendly and helpful. Older people are not very friendly if they hear Russian accent.
High humidity all year round, almost no snow in winter.
Private medicine is quite good, state medicine is too bureaucratic.
There are many Polish courses for foreigners, and it is possible to find Russian-speaking teachers.
The roads are in good condition. Secondary roads are not perfect, but there are no holes. The culture of driving is very high. Gasoline is more expensive than in Ukraine, but is cheaper than in Germany.
Travelling abroad: Schengen Area.
Food is better and cheaper than in Ukraine, entertainment is more expensive.
It's harder to find a job here than in Warsaw or Wroclaw. Salaries are almost the same as in Kharkov, probably a bit lower.
Accommodation rent is around 1000 zlotych per month. It is possible to find a house at otodom.pl.
Crime level is low, although drunk students may roam at night. However, they are not aggressive.
4G Internet is of a high quality. It is more profitable than wired Internet, and is just a bit more expensive than in Ukraine.
No signs of crisis, economy is on the rise.
