Perfect. This city has everything to live comfortably: infrastructure, bicycle lanes, the sea, beach, convenient and inexpensive accommodation, large real estate market with democratic pricing, no limits on buying or renting real estate for foreigners. Delicious food, a rich selection of wines and natural foods.

Higher education is applauded but not obligatory. Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian diplomas are accepted.
Excellent. All healthcare is private. Tbilisi has a huge number of high-level clinics catering lately to medical tourism among other things. Batumi too has many excellent private hospitals with great service, personnel and modern equipment. Prices are low.
Russian is widely spoken, knowing English helps, since there are many local foreigners who do not speak Russian. Learning Georgian is welcomed and helps integration into society.
Road quality is higher than average, the locals drive acceptably, petrol prices are low, public transportation is readily accessible and cheap. Cars are very cheap, import of cars isn’t taxed, car insurance isn’t obligatory, no mandatory technical inspections. One of the lowest rate of car crashes and mortality in car accidents in Europe.

Staff scarcity in IT field, thus many foreign professional in the country, mostly Russians, Ukrainian, Turks. Some Europeans, the French mostly. Knowledge of English is welcome, jobs can be found online or on arrival. Many positions of system administrators in large hotels and casinos.
Renting a 1-bedroom flat in Batumi costs around 200-300$ per month. More expensive options are also available, with higher square area or better views. Purchase prices start at 300$ per square meter. Formalization is instantaneous, with no limitations for foreigners.
