Transport in city Athens

Average. Some roads are highways, built for the Olympics, others are very run-down (mostly in the older city districts). Streets are mostly narrow with one-way traffic. Sidewalks are practically absent and parking is often a problem. The situation is much better in the new districts.
Subway is the main means of public transportation.
Bicycles are popular in “flat” cities (Thessaloniki, Larissa, Volos, Corinth, etc.). Athens has many hills.
Going abroad: Schengen.
