Transport in city Bangkok

The roads are nice. Left-side traffic. The driving is a bit hillbilly, but very courteous, everybody will always let you pass. Petrol is cheap and getting cheaper, about a dollar per liter, I think. Many cars, even more motorbikes. Bangkok is known for its car jams – and all those stories are true. Many people use subway and above-ground trains. However, all that goes only for the city center. There are also canal and river boats, cheap and fast, but can be smelly) Many buses, fares are cheap, but take a lot of time due to traffic.
